Using the Ratio Panel


You use the Ratio Panel to set how a ratioed keyframe works:

You may get unexpected results if you ratio dissimilar columns - for example if you ratio an E/W move to an angle of rotation.
(If you change the lock frame, the lock value is automatically adjusted so as to preserve the value of the ratioed keyframe. You can then change the lock value as necessary.)

If the source column is a column group divided into multiple columns - for example a Move column group that has both an E/W and a N/S column - you will need to set a ratio and lock value for each column. (See also Changing the number of columns in a move.)

You'll find more detail about ratioing below, in How ratioing works. But first, we'll show you how to set up the simpler and more common types of ratioing.
