Using the Ratio Panel

You use the Ratio Panel to set how a ratioed keyframe works:

Choose the Source Column from the scrollable list. This shows all columns - together with their column heads and names - that:

Are valid to use

Have not been hidden or contracted in the XSheet.

: You may get unexpected results if you ratio dissimilar columns - for example if you ratio an E/W move to an angle of rotation.

Type the Ratio. This is the amount by which the values in the source column will be multiplied to give the values in the ratioed column.

Set a Lock Frame for the ratioed column, and then the Lock Value you wish it to have. You can use the pop-up menu to change the units used; these are initially the same as the units of the source column.

: (If you change the lock frame, the lock value is automatically adjusted so as to preserve the value of the ratioed keyframe. You can then change the lock value as necessary.)

Click on the buttons at the bottom of the panel to apply or undo your changes:

The Apply button applies the values you have set to the keyframe, without closing the panel.

The Revert button resets the panel to the settings it had when first you opened it.

The Cancel button discards all the changes you've made in the panel, and closes it.

The OK button applies the values you have set to the keyframe, and closes the panel.

If the source column is a column group divided into multiple columns - for example a Move column group that has both an E/W and a N/S column - you will need to set a ratio and lock value for each column. (See also Changing the number of columns in a move.)
